Can I distribute materials to the public through the Library?

Answer

CCPL has a literature distribution service that is available to local non-profit and governmental organizations, and educational institutions. All literature distribution requests must be made via our online request form, then reviewed and approved by our Communications & External Relations Division.

If your request is approved, a member of our team will contact you with further instructions.

Please note

  • We can only accept material that is pre-bundled in approved quantities.
  • Materials are distributed to our branches within 24-48 hours of receipt.
  • Items that are not bundled will be recycled.
  • Literature not permitted for display or distribution in branches includes commercial advertising, personal and group sales material, business cards and material printed primarily for the purpose of soliciting members, requesting donations, or selling merchandise or services. Exceptions include season ticket brochures for cultural organizations such as the ballet, orchestra and theatre groups, and special event flyers for local nonprofit organizations.
