Answer

Cuyahoga County Public Library offers Innovation Centers at the following branches:

Click the name of the branch to see what equipment is available at each location.

CCPL Innovation Centers are creative, collaborative and educational spaces that provide access to advanced software, emerging technologies and production equipment. They are valuable resources for small business owners and makers alike.

How much does it cost to use an Innovation Center?

Library customers who have completed a mandatory orientation class may use the Innovation Centers' software and equipment at no cost. Oriented users are also required to attend a basics class before using the following equipment: CNC router, embroidery machine and laser cutter/engraver.

However, users are responsible for the costs of consumable materials (e.g., 3D printing filament, vinyl material). We encourage users to bring their own pre-approved materials, but limited supplies of consumable materials are also available for purchase.

What kind of equipment is available?

CCPL Innovation Centers offer a variety of software and equipment that allows user to:

  • Print plastic objects from 3-D computer renderings
  • Design, print and embroider custom apparel
  • Print banners, precision-cut wall graphics and signage
  • Cut letters, shapes and symbols out of a variety of materials
  • Learn basic coding and programming skills
  • And more!

Please note: Equipment varies by location. No two are the same. We highly recommend contacting the branch before you visit to check equipment availability.
